Whitefords in Clinton

Granted its hot outside and most of us aren't thinking clearly but a BLT shouldn't be steaming so that it would burn when you bite in. Just not impressed with the place at all. Might try it again in the winter, idk.

I meet friends in this great spot a lot! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go there frequently. The meals are great, the staff members are helpful and the price is good. I like eating in this restaurant over a rich meal.

The best fast food in Clinton

This is the hometown restaurant! You won’t find better service or nicer people than the Whitefords. If you’re in Clinton or driving through, don’t miss it!!!

If you're from Columbia, SC, this is Clinton's version of Rush's. Terrific burgers, dogs, milkshakes, etc!

Outstanding food. Fast and plenty to eat. First time with our riding group and it was great. Mrs. Whiteford even came to our table and chatted, this is small town eats at their best. I'm going back.

The food is great! I’ve been eating here for decades. The three-star rating is over the decision to charge 0.60 cents for water. Really? I even understand perhaps covering The cost of a cup, but profit on water?

My first time to Whiteford's and this place has alot of specials you can choose from. The hotdogs are great even with pickle and slaw on them. The fries are Rush's like. The manager on duty the day I went was very helpful. Even the customers that were in there, was referring to different things to try. Looking forward to going back.

Good southern home cooking! Friendly staff and small town atmosphere. Blue plate special was a great deal including drink and cake.

I have loved this place for my entire life. Stopped in here on my way through the area for a taste of nostalgia. Their Giant Burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had. Had to have a Strawberry milkshake before I left. I grew up on this food and have never found anything I love more!

Very good for a fast food restaurant. It's been a local place for as long as I can remember. I'm 60 years old and I remember eating here for ever. Very good and good pricing too.

I tried twice to make a order over the phone not once but twice. Both times the phone rang with no answer, I finally ended up going in person to place my order, I placed my order , when I spoke with manager about my concerns. All I got was if we’re busy we (whitefords) don’t answer the phone... when I walked in the dining room , there were hardly any customers inside the restaurant, and the drive through was not the busy either.... Very poor customer service, good food, but still very poor customer service.

Not exactly homemade but not bad

i work there a WEEK the customers love me but the employees there do not want you to make any money they didnt want me getting tips or anything so i quite the supervisor stephen is real nasty as long as he is the one making all the money thats fine but he will make sure you only get enough

This place was fine. I had a small cheeseburger, and it wasn't great, but it was okay. My dad had chicken something or other, and he loved it. He went to this place often in college. The atmosphere was very friendly. The servers were eager to help and the colors of the building very bright. Overall, I enjoyed eating here.

Has always been my favorite place to eat. But when they switched up the fries they used. But mistake. They used to be the best fries. Now they're horrible

Prolly a great burger joint. The seafood and fish are frozen and shouldn't be consumed. I wish I would have ordered the burger.

Order was correct and food was decent. Everything was fresh and hot. Service after you order is slooooooow. 15+ minute wait after you order, the attitude of girls on the front line act like they dont want to be there. No thank you, no sorry for the long wait, no nothing. Just take your food and leave please attitude...

If you like fried diner food, then this is the place for you. I had the fried shrimp and Mac and cheese for a side. It was what I expected and was plenty of food. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The bathrooms were clean. There was a little black cat at the door greeting customers.

Whiteford's is absolutely an all around wonderful restaurant here in the small city of Clinton. If you are looking for great food as far as burgers and such this is for sure the place to go. Their staff is way beyond superb, they go above and beyond to serve their many patrons, every single one of them greet you with a smile, the staff is genuinely nice and courteous, and not to mention they try to get to know their customers and call them by name. You will never be treated like just another order there. Steve Whiteford is absolutely great as well, he treats every customer as if they are all old friends and genuinely cares about the community in which he serves. I highly recommend this small town restaurant as they provide all around big time service!

The fairly new location of the Laurens institution. Good burgers, some of the best fries around and surprisingly good fried chicken. Definitely worth stopping into if you're in the area.

I absolutely love it! Me and my boyfriend goes here on the regular like 3 maybe 4 times a week! The food is cooked southern style and the macaroni and cheese is good but they don't mix it well enough so the cheese is loaded at the top and all the noodles at the bottom! Cornbread is really good and sweet but oftentimes it is hard! They also have vegetable plate for the vegetarians! That's a big thumbs up! The sweet tea is the best I've ever tasted! I hope you have a good experience the way we have. Good place for family to eat!

Slowest drive-thru in the world. You better have 30mins to waste.

It's a good place to grab a quick bite, I like the fried chicken. Also it's been in clinton since the beginning of time lol.

Quick service, great home style food! We stopped passing through to try something different and it’s worth the 8 minute drive off the interstate - it has a drive thru too but we ate inside. Cute place! Definitely recommend!
